What Does It Take To Pass Your Test?

We Want You To Pass 1st Time
Some people think all they need to do to pass their driving test is to make sure they can drive ok, and they become an ok driver by taking driving lessons. It actually doesn't work like that.

You see, anyone can learn to drive, driving isn't difficult, but what is hard is staying safe and that is the secret to passing your driving test. Yes, it's about how you can control the car, but there is a lot more to being a safe driver, and if you can demonstrate to the examiner you are safe, you will pass.

So take a look at how we describe and detail what it takes to become a safe driver so you can get your driving licence.

1. To be in control of the car at all times, so you have got to avoid things like rolling back on a hill start, and no cruising on the clutch etc.

2. Hazard perception is crucial, you must see hazards emerging and take action to avoid or eliminate them.

3. The Highway Code is your written reference to the laws of the road, you must abide by this.

4. To have a safe attitude.

Apply these 4 traits to all of your lessons and you will become a naturally safe river ready to pass the driving test.

SAVING MONEY When Passing Your Test

How Much Can You Save?

If you are anything like all other learner drivers you do not want to spend a penny more than you need to, so let us have a look at how you can be more economical with saving money on lessons without it affecting your chances of passing.

Saving up for driving lessons before you start could save you £200 or more. What generally happens is a learner will take one lesson a week, and the time you take your next lesson you have forgotten a lot of things you have learned. When you practice anything you need to keep on practising.

Because you could lose up to 20 - 30 minutes just on going over and remembering what you did previously so you can get back to standard, that could cost you 10 hours or so of tuition, therefore if you can, take a lesson every 3 to 4 days.

There is also an additional benefit to taking a lesson every 3 to 4 days, you will not be required to go along with private practice. Insuring a car, along with wear and tear and of course fuel, could cost you as much as £400 over just a 3 month period.

As you can see, a lesson every 3 to  4 days, is a great money and time saver.
